OPEN HEART THERAPY

Relieve Hurt. Restore Peace. Regain Clarity.

Through therapy, education, and guidance, we aim to strengthen the foundation of family bonds and promote emotional well-being for every member

Heart Care

Having an Open-Heart means being emotionally available, receptive, and compassionate toward both yourself and others. It involves being vulnerable, allowing yourself to feel deeply and authentically, and being willing to connect with people without fear of judgment or rejection. When your heart is open, you're able to embrace love, kindness, and empathy more freely, allowing for genuine connections and growth.

An open heart also means letting go of fear, resentment, or defensiveness. It's about embracing the present moment and accepting people as they are, with all their strengths and flaws. It creates a space for trust, healing, and understanding, allowing you to truly experience life’s richness and the depth of relationships.

"Open heart therapy" isn't a standard term in the psychological or therapeutic fields, but it can be interpreted as a type of emotional healing or personal growth work focused on opening one's heart to deeper emotions, connections, and self-awareness. It should encompass practices and techniques that help you overcome emotional blockages, heal past wounds, and cultivate empathy, self-love, and compassion.

Counseling Care

In therapy, opening the heart should involve exploring emotions you've kept suppressed or unaddressed, processing past trauma or pain, and learning to be vulnerable and authentic in relationships. It should also be about nurturing your capacity to forgive, both others and yourself, in order to release heavy emotional burdens and create space for growth and healing.

Some therapeutic approaches that align with Open Heart Therapy include but are not limited to:

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT): Focuses on improving emotional connection and attachment in relationships, helping people open up and express their feelings in a safe space.

Cognitive Behavior Therapy: Focuses on helping identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors. It works on focusing on the present and encouraging individuals to challenge distorted thinking, improving problem-solving skills, and adopt healthier behaviors.

Mindfulness and Compassion-Focused Therapy: Focuses on cultivating empathy, self-compassion, and non-judgmental awareness, helping people reconnect with themselves and others from a place of openness.

Trauma-Informed Therapy: Addresses the effects of past trauma and how it might close the heart, providing ways to safely process those experiences and heal.

Caring Population

We provide psychotherapy for youth and families that focus on addressing emotional, behavioral, and relational issues that impact the well-being of children, adolescents, and adults. We work to improve communication, strengthen relationships, and help individuals cope with difficulties they may be facing such as anxiety, depression, trauma, or family conflicts

Our Care Plus division is dedicated to providing counseling services to our neurodivergent population from the ages of 12 to 24 years of age. This includes a program designed to help children and adults with neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD, dyslexia, learning disabilities, and other behavioral or cognitive challenges. The approach is based on the concept that imbalances in the brain's left and right hemispheres can contribute to various difficulties in behavior, learning, and emotional regulation. This program through brain balance is a non-medical, drug-free approach that focuses on: Physical Exercises, Cognitive Training, Nutritional Support, & Behavioral Techniques

Care Plus

Opening your heart in therapy can lead to deeper emotional freedom, better relationships, and a stronger sense of inner peace. If you're considering therapy, exploring these concepts with a licensed therapist has been said to be a good way to find healing and connection.

  • When we started, I couldn't have a normal conversation with my daughter. After working with her, we can do all the typical mother-daughter stuff. She talks to me and expresses her feelings openly now. I never thought I was going to have this type of relationship with my daughter.
